About Larne Crisis Accommodation

Larne Crisis Accommodation provides quality temporary emergency accommodation in a safe, clean and homely environment. We support families and eligible individuals who are at risk. Larne Crisis Accommodation provides a comprehensive service including independent accommodation, housing support and resettlement services. We are funded by Supporting People in line with National and Local Homeless Strategies.

Referrals will only be accepted through Northern Ireland Housing Executive,

If you are homeless and require emergency accommodation please contact your local Northern Ireland Housing Executive Office.

Support Provided Includes

  • Health services registration
  • Benefit advice and assistance
  • Housing advice and support to secure new permanent tenancy
  • Assistance to apply for Discretionary Support
  • Debt support planning
  • Training and education opportunities
  • Reduce isolation and build positive support network

What Is Emergency Accommodation?

Our Emergency accommodation provides temporary short term housing to give families a place to remain together until a permanent tenancy can be secured.

All our accommodation is fully furnished and contains all the essentials a family will need to settle comfortably

To provide quality support that enables service users to develop and reach their full potential.

To provide quality support that enables service users to ‘move on’ to appropriate accommodation with the necessary follow up support.

Eligibility Criteria

We can accept referrals for families or vulnerable adults who are deemed homeless throughout Northern Ireland.

We cannot accept any person who has been convicted, or is facing charges relating to sexual or criminal allegations/crimes.

Meet the Staff

Diane Huston – Diane has been our dedicated support and resettlement worker for over 10 years, fully qualified in all Housing Related advice and support areas she provides a tailored person centered service which supports the varied needs of our service users.

Diane Topping – Diane has worked at the Centre for 6 years and oversees the admin and finances of the project

Our available accommodation consists of 1 ground floor flat, 1 first floor flat and 2 maisonette flats.

All units are furnished and contain essential electricals, bedding and basic kitchen items
